GB Small Boats Regatta at Eton Dorney Sunday 28th April

Finn Lawton and Tom Asteriades - both J17 - travelled down to Eton Dorney to take part in the GB Small Boats Regatta.

In the time trial Finn came 3rd out of 24 and so progressed through to the 'A' final where he came 4th.  The boys who came 1st,2nd and 3rd were all J18!

Tom came 20th in the time trial and so went through to the 'D' final which he went on to win!

Junior Inter-Regionals at Nottingham - Saturday 27th April

Our J15 boys were invited to take part in the Junior Inter- Regionals. Barrie Blake, their coach , selected 4 boys to row in a J15.4+.
Up until now the boys have spent all their time sculling and so vey quickly had to adapt to rowing.
The crew only had 4 weeks training before race day!

They did very well, coming 3rd in their heat which got them through to the 'A' final. In the final they came 5th behind the big clubs - Marlow, Shrewsbury, Monmouth and Westminster.

Northwich Spring Head Sunday April 7th

Once again we had a lovely sunny day for our Spring Head!

Northwich secured 4 wins with several crews coming in 2nd position.

The winning crews were:

J18A2x - Tom Asteriades, Finn Lawton

WIM3.8+  Lucy Woods, Beth Chaplin, Georgia Hogg, Daisy Dell, Tory Scott

J14A.2x - Matthew Radford, Greg Murphy

Harry Blake also had a win in the IM3.8+ which was a composite crew of Grange,Northwich
and Runcorn.
